Pineapple Milkshake Recipe Overview
If you’re looking for drinks with coconut milk and also like thick-yet-sippable milk shakes, then this pineapple milkshake is just for you. Just like my strawberry coconut milkshake, it has a creamy texture due to coconut cream. So you can also call it a coconut milkshake with pineapple.
This pineapple milkshake is inspired by the famous Pina Colada milkshake (non-alcoholic) where coconut and pineapple make the base along with other added ingredients. The great thing about this pineapple shake is that you can make it without the dairy and it’ll be just as good. And the kids can enjoy this pineapple coconut drink as well!

Ingredients Needed
- Pineapple – it’s best to use frozen pineapple, when blended the ice particles yield a creamy consistency.
- Ice cream – use regular vanilla ice cream if you can. I used non-dairy coconut ice cream (vanilla flavor with no added sugar), cashew based ice cream also works beautifully due to it’s creaminess, or you can use regular ice cream (if you don’t have problems with dairy).
- Banana – helps with creaminess and added sweetness so we could skip a sweetener.
- Coconut cream (the solid part from a coconut milk can) optional – to cut a bit the quantity of added ice cream.
- Milk – to thin it out. I used dairy free milk. You can use any you like (coconut, almond, oat, cashew, hemp).
