This simple smoothie brings together fresh greens like dandelion greens, parsley, fruit and more for a nutrient-rich blend that supports both gallbladder and liver health. Loaded with natural enzymes and antioxidants, it helps promote better digestion, aids the body’s detox processes, and offers a pleasantly balanced flavor without being overpowering. Perfect for a quick pick-me-up or a wholesome breakfast alternative.
Rinse dandelion greens and parsley thoroughly under cool water to remove any dirt.
Pat or shake off excess moisture before roughly chopping them.
Layer Ingredients in the Blender:
Add chopped greens first, followed by pineapple, mango, grapefruit pulp, and blueberries. Tip: Placing the greens at the bottom helps them blend more easily.
Sprinkle hemp seeds on top of the fruits and greens.
Pour in Coconut Water: Use about 1 cup, adjusting to reach your preferred consistency.
Blend Gently, Then Increase Speed:
Begin blending on low to break down the greens.
Gradually increase to high until the mixture is smooth. I'm using my compact beast blender for convenience.
Taste and Adjust:
Add more pineapple or a spoonful of raw honey if it’s too bitter; if it’s too sweet, toss in an extra piece of grapefruit or lemon.
Serve and Enjoy:
Pour into a glass or reusable bottle, and enjoy! Tip: To maximize nutrient content, drink your smoothie as soon as possible after blending.
Notes
